Schatz&Schatz Comes to Frankfurt

On Saturday, October 10, 2026 we celebrate the Frankfurt premiere of Schatz&Schatz at Gallus Theater! After Essen, Bochum and Weinstadt, we’re now bringing our piece to Frankfurt am Main – once again with Cynthia Cosima Erhardt joining us on stage.

It will be a celebration full of shut the fucks and passion. Come one, come all – and laugh loudly and heartily!

What does it mean to be human? Is there an ideal? The characters of Schatz&Schatz strive for one, but the smallest triggers make the façade crumble – jealousy, anger and passion break through. In short: being human. Enduring that often only works with humor. Schatz&Schatz work through all of this in an unsparingly honest, self-ironic way. The characters walk through their shared life, never stopping, constantly searching – and perhaps, in the end, finding something unexpected. While public debates grow louder and positions harden, the performers turn their gaze to the smallest battlefield of human coexistence: the couple. Where intimacy and conflict intertwine, the question arises of what remains after you’ve fought tooth and nail, perfected love, and theoretically done everything right. This piece is an ode to love, to bearing with one another, and a reminder that it’s worth the effort of truly grappling with each other.

In 2026, Schatz&Schatz was honored with the Folkwang Prize 2026 in the performing arts category. In July we won the main prize and three further awards at the Teatri Riflessi Festival 2026 in Zafferana Etnea, Sicily, with our short version Living the Schatz Life.
